Insurance Reimbursement

As a licensed professional counselor many of my services are covered under most insurance plans. I am an in-network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and Federal  insurance plans. If you are in any of these plans, it will be noted on your insurance card. With all other insurance plans, I am an out-of-network provider. Please check with your insurance carrier to see if they offer out-of-network mental health benefits.

I will assist you in submitting your insurance claims. For in-network and most out-of-network plans, I will submit your claim directly to your insurance carrier. In some cases, it will be necessary for you to submit the claim. In these cases, I will provide you with a monthly statement that you can submit directly to your carrier. I will assist you in utilizing your health insurance benefits, although payment of all professional fees is ultimately your responsibility.

Many clients prefer to pay out-of-pocket to keep personal mental health information private or because some insurance carriers limit the number of sessions you can have in a year.
